If you have any other versions of MS Visual Studio already on your system, you probably need to uninstall those before proceeding. Otherwise, begin here and follow the sequence of these instructions… Note that if you do NOT require the use of user defined routines in your work with Abaqus, the installation is simpler and you may skip directly to the section entitled “Abaqus 6.13-1”.
